Contact and FAQ

How do I commission art?

First, go through the commission page, then read the Terms of Services.Once you decide what you’d like me to draw, write me a message (include as many details as possible, preferably link me a gallery of pictures in the best quality you can get. If you do not have anything like that, and feel creative, feel free to send me a pen and paper sketch for example!)Also write down number of characters, extra details, what type of colour and shading you’d prefer, and so on. (Preferably by using the formula provided in the commissions)make sure to let me know of your budget.

  • Example: “Hi, I am interested in a drawing of my OTP, this and this character, but Neko AU, all in pink monochrome with cell shading.”

  • Example 2: “Hey, I have 40€ and want a drawing, it is up to you what you draw.”

  • Example 3: “I have this character inspired by this historical event and I’d like a concept art…(more details).”

  • Example 4: “I really really love to see [this] and [that], any way you could combine it together?”

After that I will get to you as soon as possible and:

  • Exchange information, links, etc. regarding the comission.

  • Make a rough sketch.

  • We estimate the budget, calculate the price together

  • Send you an invoice (do not send money for the commission on your own, please)

  • Continue the artwork

  • Discuss what changes are to be made while progressing

  • Finished picture will be sent to you in *.png file.

  • I may post the artwork on my website and socials.

I currently accept only PayPal!

By submiting the form or using other means to contact me request a commission, you confirm to have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms of Services.

How to commission?

Important:
» read tos!
» any money received without a proper invoice will be considered a donation!
» prices below are rough estimation, and not the final price! (you will receive the complete calculation from me directly)
» the final price is calculated in czk and the rate in eur/gbp/usd listed here may change depending on that day's conversion rates! I use the čnb rates (czech national bank). rounded to tenths.
» fixed hourly wage is 450czk (18€)
» last price update in accordance to the conversion rates: 29.06.2024 (1€ = 25.05czk)
» if you want something very complex, i will give you the basic price, then charge by hour (mecha, furry, etc.) depending on the subject

Usage, licences, copyright

The finished artwork may be used in non-commercial uses, be it through the use of a digital file (avatars, icons, backgrounds) or physical (printing without making profit from the work). The artist still holds the rights to create and profit from prints, merchandise, or use it in promotional or other commercial uses. The customer may publish the finished artwork to social media, a link to cyanalgia.com must be always accessible and visible, the image must not be altered and has to contain the signature. Non-commissioned pieces are exception, but credit to the artist must always be present (link to cyanalgia.com and the artist’s signature). The artist reserves the copyrights of the artwork, the characters and sceneries may be subject of copyright either of the customer or a third party. The artist is only the owner of the rights to the artwork created by them, the domain cyanalgia.com, and the artist pseudonyms. The artwork is not allowed to be used in AI training programs, or in generation of images in general, including using filters, especially for commercial purposes. This includes using sketches or flat-colour artwork for ai inpainting processes. Tracing for non-commercial purposes is allowed (although not recommended.)

Third party

Your information may be stored in accordance with the carrd.co’s privacy policy. No information about the customer will be showed to a third party, unless required in accordance with the law. All contact is and must be confidential.

Artwork proposal

The customer contacts the artist, providing them with written and/or visual references. The list of what art can be requested is in the Comissions section.
After both parties come to an agreement, the artist will provide the customer with rough sketch, working together to find the optimal one. After that, a payment is expected to be delivered through Paypal. The artist will invoice the customer, please, do not send the money on your own directly.
After the payment is received, the artist will continue creating the artwork, until another sketch or lineart is produced – which will be sent to the customer for review. After that, no more changes can be requested to the full pose, small details like scars, jewellery, make-up can always be added on top. (Such things differ art to art of course.)

Waiting time

The customer has to be able to respond within 30 calendar days. Booking a commission slot, making a rough idea, sending the money, in the case all parties come to an agreement, all have to happen during the 30 days period. If the customer doesn’t respond in the planning phase, their commission slot is going to the next customer.
If the customer does not respond to the invoice within those 30 days, or refuses to pay, the commission will be dropped.
The waiting time for finishing the artwork on average does not exceed 30 calendar days. In case more alternations are requested by the customer, the waiting period may be extended by another 14 calendar days. Major alternations are going to be considered a whole new commission and be treated as such (planning phase, payment, delivery), that is in the very rare case the artist agrees to such alternations. All of the above may be subject to change, depending on both the customer’s and artist’s circumstances.

Work in progress

Depending on the type of artwork requested (greyscale, cell-shading, etc.), the artist will send a screenshot of the progress IF requested by the customer (no more than once per week). In case there is a necessity for the customers feedback on the artwork, the artist will wait for their clear response for 30 calendar days.In case no response is given within those 30 calendar days, the artist reserves the right to either discontinue the work or to finish it without any other input from the customer, the final decision differs from artwork to artwork. The artist usually works in the afternoon and evening hours. Please, be mindful of the time zones and be patient with waiting on a reply. The artwork file is stored for 12 calendar months, unless lost due to unforeseeable circumstances (natural disasters, theft, etc).

Termination Agreement and Refunds

In case the artist is unable to finish the work on time due to health reasons, the customer will be informed so that both parties can come to a resolution. If the customer requests the work be stopped, they will be refunded the amount minus the hourly wage × hours spent on the artwork.
(One hour = 400CZK, please check your current rates in your own currency to make sure, but it is roughly 17€, 17$, 15£ as of the time of writing this.)
The artist reserves the right to stop working on the art without refund if the customer engages in:

  • Excessive messaging to the artist

  • Harassment and other forms of abuse

  • Racism and other forms of discrimination (example: transphobia, ableism, sexism, biphobia, etc.)

  • Lying/minimisation/quote mining, especially about the subjects mentioned above

Donations can’t be refunded, as they are considered gifts in a good will.

By requesting a commission and/or paying me, you agree to have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms of Services.
